Walk to End Pancreatic Cancer

Once again, this June brings PanCAN’s annual “Walk to End Pancreatic Cancer”, and once again, I am proud to throw TVD’s support behind Cathy Quon, who has bravely and steadfastly supported PanCAN over these many years. Please help me honor Cathy’s efforts by supporting her and her team!

This June 23rd, Cathy will participate in PurpleStride San Francisco, the walk to end pancreatic cancer, in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN). Pancreatic cancer is the world’s toughest cancer with a five-year survival rate of just 9 percent. But through PurpleStride, you can help improve patient outcomes and help PanCAN double survival by 2020.

Every year, Team Quon raises at least $30,000 for this important cause and has been recognized as the top fundraising team for nine years–they’ve raised $250,000+ in that time.

Cathy writes, “If you didn’t know, I am now a double cancer survivor. I have survived pancreatic cancer for 17 years. In fall 2018, I was diagnosed with colon cancer (totally independent of pancreatic cancer) which required surgery and chemotherapy. Without the advances of modern medicine, I might not be a survivor of two cancers.

That’s why fundraising is important to me. The funds raised will help with research and services for pancreatic cancer victims and their families.

A donation of any size will help. Click here to visit my personal page. Click here to view the team page for Team Quon.

Thank you for your support!

Best, Cathy”
